Special Olympics Toronto

Thanks to the organizers, volunteers, athletes, coaches and spectators who made the August 28 Softball Regional Tournament such a success.  The event was held at Coronation Park and the sunny weather and cool lake breeze made it a perfect day for playing ball

There is a softball tournament on Saturday August 28 at Coronation Park, just outside the CNE gates in downtown Toronto.  There will be teams from all across the GTA participating so feel free to come out and cheer!  If you are going to the Exhibition, why not stop by and watch a few innings of amazing softball?  Lots of fun guaranteed.

Registration Information for Coaches, Communities and Athletes

Special Olympics Ontario launched golf this year as an additional sanctioned sport. A number of communities have programs already up and running, and are operational at a variety of levels. The interest is HIGH and the potential to have Special Olympics athletes engaged is unlimited.

 The goal of the Day is to celebrate golf in Ontario. While the competition may have different formats in proceeding years, we are starting a 2 person scramble 9-hole Alternate Shot Team Play and Individual Skills Competition. This will provide an opportunity to assess our athletes’ development and plan for the future.
